An advertising graduate from Diego Portales University, Hurtado has stood out in his 10-year career with significant creative awards from the advertising industry, both nationally and internationally. Throughout his career, he has held roles at agencies such as Prolam Y&R, BBDO, McCann, and Wunderman Thompson.
In his opinion, it is very important to listen to clients—he has worked with brands including Spacio 1, Petrobras, and Aguas Andinas—and truly understand their pain points. “That is where the brief that is written between the lines appears, and that has allowed us, together with them, to achieve good results,” says Hurtado.
The creative notes that understanding the clients’ language and putting himself in their shoes to think about creativity has allowed him and his teams to bring winning ideas to life. His work has been awarded at The One Show, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Cannes Lions, Clio, El Sol, Achap, and other festivals.
He also highlights that working alongside José Vallejos, Managing Partner of BBK Group, has been a great opportunity for learning and collaboration.
